The trailer for Better man has arrived. The upcoming musical biopic is the second feature film from the director of the hit 2017 musical The greatest showman. While it tells the story of English pop star Robbie Williams, known as part of the group Take That as well as for successful solo singles such as “Rock DJ” and “Millennium”, he is depicted as a CGI monkey, which contradicts the filmmaker's background in the field of visual effects. In addition to Williams, who voices himself, the cast also includes Jonno Davies, Steve Pemberton and Alison Steadman.




Paramount Pictures has has revealed the official trailer for Better man. Williams, who narrates the trailer, introduces the CGI monkey concept by explaining: “I have always seen myself as a little less developed.“While the short clip, just over a minute long, contains many typical music biopic elements, including a repressed childhood, a big concert and party scenes, the pop star's quirky portrayal creates an additional dimension that makes the film one special experience makes an unusual addition to the genre.
