Pennsylvania is among the tightest races in the country as Election Day approaches

Pennsylvania remains one of the toughest contests in the country as the November presidential election approaches.

According to new data from AARP, Vice President Kamala Harris continues to lead former President Donald Trump by a narrow margin.

According to the poll, Harris is at 49% of likely voters, while Trump is at about 47%. Three percent said they were undecided.

The AARP survey was conducted Sept. 17-24 by a bipartisan team via landlines, cell phones and text-to-web.

Harris' weakest point is seniors, AARP response data shows.

According to the data, seniors 65 and older favored Trump by seven points.

It's a big change after Trump trailed previous Democratic nominee President Biden by a point before he dropped out and Harris became the party's nominee.

The AARP poll found that 50% of likely voters approved of Trump's performance as president from 2016 to 2020. About 49% disapprove of his job performance in the Oval Office.

About 45% approve of Harris' performance as vice president, while 52% disapprove.

The AARP poll surveyed 1,398 likely voters in Pennsylvania and has an overall margin of error of four percentage points.

The data included an oversample of 470 likely state voters ages 50 and older with a margin of error of three and a half percentage points.
