The Florida Hard Rock Casino was evacuated because hidden fireworks devices were found

Two hidden devices made with fireworks were found at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa in Florida, destroying the Seminole Police and the FBI had to investigate and the casino had to be evacuated twice while a bomb squad dealt with the explosives.

A “crude, hidden device containing fireworks components” was discovered at the casino just before midnight Sunday night and was quickly deactivated with assistance from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office bomb disposal team, Seminole police told Fox News Digital in a statement.

The device was discovered in a men's restroom next to the casino and part of the building was immediately evacuated.

The casino reopened around 3 a.m. Monday after the device was disabled and removed.

A second hidden device related to the first was discovered just after noon on Monday in a men's room on the mezzanine floor of the casino, which was evacuated.

The second device was located as part of the investigation and review of casino surveillance videos.

The second device was also deactivated and removed with the assistance of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Bomb Disposal Team and all areas of the casino were reopened.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa declined to comment on the situation and FBI Tampa did not immediately respond for comment.
