'Wheel of Fortune' contestant loses $1 million prize

'Wheel of Fortune' contestant loses million prize

Ryan Seacrest's second week as Wheel of Fortune The host experienced a first for him. His candidate, Vivian Tran made it to the million dollar round but ended up dead missed the target. This moment sparked disappointment, not only for the host and contestant, but also for the competition show's studio audience who were watching the moment, for her supportive family, and for the show's host. Vanna White.

During Monday's bonus round, Tran played for $1 million. To help her out, she also has a wildcard for an additional letter. The theme of the bonus round puzzle was “What are you doing?” and was initially given 6 letters. Unfortunately, not only was Tran unable to solve the puzzle within the allotted 10 seconds, she also missed out on the grand prize. Despite her disappointment, she didn't leave empty-handed. She ended up leaving with $27,300.

In an interview with Maggie Sayakdaughter of the former host, Pat SayakTran revealed this on Instagram Her experience on the show was “painful” but also a great experience. She revealed that she couldn't understand the first word and after just eight seconds she knew she couldn't solve it. However, this experience was positive for her and she was happy to take part in the show.

Wheel of Fortune is not immune to missed opportunities and similar moments. Other participants were unable to solve the puzzle, even though many of the letters were revealed. Although disappointing for the participants, it results in fun and memorable failures. I just hope the next contestant doesn't make a similar mistake.
